Precautions

Welcome, everyone! At Moms Manager Vancouver, we celebrate your pregnancy and forthcoming birth. As a mother in your family, we are dedicated to helping you become a loving and healthy mother to your precious child.

Precautions for Using Moms Manager

Title and Respect

Please refer to your caregiver as "Manager" or "Caregiver" and treat them as comfortably as you would a family member.

Respect for Personhood

Unlike typical housekeepers, our Moms Managers are professionals trained specifically for postpartum care of mothers and newborns. While most clients understand the professionalism involved in postpartum care, there are instances where due to lack of awareness, the human dignity of the caregiver is neglected. Our caregivers strive to meet all of a mother's needs, so we ask that you refrain from demeaning behavior and treat them with the respect they deserve.

Communication

Initial lack of communication between a new mother and caregiver can lead to misunderstandings and discomfort due to unmet expectations. To resolve this, caregivers will ask and confirm various matters, so clear responses from the mother are appreciated. Likewise, if mothers have specific needs or requests, please communicate them clearly. Clear expression of needs enhances the efficiency and satisfaction of postpartum care services. We encourage warm cooperation between the mother and caregiver for the best service experience.

Housework

The main task of the caregiver is to take care of the mother and newborn. While light housekeeping related to the mother and baby's care is part of the job, unrelated tasks (e.g., major cleaning, toilet cleaning, laundry beyond baby's needs, preparing food for guests) are not included.

Meal Preparation

Meals will be prepared using ingredients provided by the mother, taking into account her dietary preferences. (If the market is within walking distance, light grocery shopping can be done during work hours.)

Rest Time

Adequate rest is necessary for the caregiver's ability to provide quality care. For commuting caregivers, a 20-minute break including lunchtime is standard; live-in caregivers should receive a 2-hour break daily.

Service Changes

For changes in service duration, early termination, or caregiver replacement during the service period, counseling with the company is required.

Special Care Massage

Cancellations on the day of the massage service will result in a deduction of a session. Changes to dates other than the day of are permissible, so please check your schedule in advance.

Other Considerations

1. Caregivers are not medical professionals but are there to support the mother and baby's recovery and well-being.
2. Please secure valuable or fragile items in advance to prevent misunderstandings or accidents.
3. The company and caregiver cannot be held responsible for lost items.
4. If the mother or baby requires special care due to health issues or congenital conditions, please inform us in advance for counseling and determination of service feasibility. (Service may be declined after counseling.)
5. We are not responsible for complaints or compensation for caregivers operating independently without the company's involvement, and immediate termination will follow upon discovery.

※ Our caregivers are dedicated to ensuring the comfort and well-being of the mother and baby. If you have any discomfort or requests during the service, please do not hesitate to discuss them with your caregiver for a satisfactory service experience. If there are issues you feel uncomfortable addressing directly to the caregiver, please contact the company for prompt assistance. We appreciate your cooperation to focus fully on postpartum care and newborn care.

Moms Manager is dedicated to providing the best care with the warmth and attentiveness of a mother's love for both the precious baby and the mother experiencing the challenges of childbirth.
